Formed in 2003, Stitchface are a five-piece ska/punk band mixing loud rock guitars with bright brass melodies.

After six months in the practice room, the band began playing live shows in February 2004. Since then, they have racked up over 20 performances, including appearances at the 2004 Underground Fest in Auckland and the 2004 Punkfest in Wellington and shows with acts such as Love Like...Electrocution (Aus), The Offbeats, The Managers, This Night Creeps, Stardrunk, Autozamm and many more.

Stitchface have recently completed the recording of their debut EP, Night of the Living Thread, which is scheduled for release on Stakeout Records in early February 2005.

Based in Palmerston North, the band includes members of punk act Hung Jury and alternative rockers Mailbox Skipole.
